My cousin is Victoria Elizabeth... you dont get any more classic than that ... she HATES it. (Especially when we went thru a phase of calling her 'Vicky-Beth'). But I LOVE the classic name Victoria.
I am from a large family, so here are a few of the girls in my family: Rebecca Ann (Becky) Barbara Jean (Bobbi) Lisa Marie Tammy Lynn Taylor Paige Kayla Marie Jenna Lee Emily Ann Tana Michelle DeAnna Lucille Katherine Joyce (Katie) If I ever have a little girl (probably not happening), she will be Lillian Avis (Lily) or Paris.
Too funny, elims, that's what I was going to suggest. Both Victoria and Elizabeth are strong names and I like that. They would flow for you, Jen. (I also don't like 'different' spellings...as told by my Little One's name, lol) Good luck and let us know. If I think of any more, I'll throw them out here Frogger
Have a friend in VA who named her's Bethany Anne and another named her's Karly Marie (thought that was pretty and sounds good together)
I have Oprah on right now. She and Gail are on their road trip and they just met two (Native American, I believe) young girls named Autumn Rain & Winter Blossom. No comment.
OK, let's see what we have here.... I'm just gonna go through the posts and pull some out Like I said, I love Sarah Elizabeth, but I can't use it. We have an Elizabeth in the family. Megan.......I like Megan, but DH doesn't. Laura.....is our pastor's wifes name, and I don't think it flows with our last name. I like Molly........but DH will veto that real quick. I also like Maggie, but he says that sounds like a dogs name. I like Rebecca, but I think it's too long for a first name, and I don't like the nickname Becky or Becca.... Nicole.....LOVE IT, but........that's DH's ex-wifes name. Savannah is okay, but when I hear it I just think of Georgia. I like Hannah, but DH isn't crazy about that one. Jenna Lee......is kind of cool, but considering I'm a Jennifer, it's jut not going to work, lol Sigh........I love Emily and Emma, and these have really been the only two names we can agree on, but dang if everybody isn't naming their kid some form of that name. But this thing is cool: http://babynamewizard.com/namevoyager/lnv0105.html Thanks for that link, I'ma show it to DH tonight. Back to the drawing board.
Re: names OMG, we are going to name our baby girl (if it's a girl) Emery and everyone thinks we are insane. No one likes it, but oh well! My MIL swears up and down people will call her an emery board. We just can't decide on a boy's name. We are debating between Nelson, Waylon, Dallas and Braxton. We cannot decide!!! We have 2 boys already and named them easily, but this one has been harder. Oh yeah, my daughter's name is Courtney Elizabeth.
I got some for a girl. What about Celeste', Chelsea, Salina, Rina, Tara, Kara, Mikayla, Holly, Fallon, Darcy, Lenne', Heather, Cherie', just for a few. Charlie is cute for a little girl too For boys: Austin, Dakota, Devon, Breven, Bryon, Bryce, Leo, Collin, Connor, Randy, Robbie, Jacob, Corey, for a few of them. 8)
Thought of another one I like, but I'd be willing to bet money that it will get vetoed when I tell it to DH..................Natalie.
