Early Voting Begins 10/19

Thursday, October 19th One-stop voting begins for General Election, 205 2nd Street Board Of Elections Office, Smithfield 8a.m to 5p.m. Saturdays 9a.m. to 1p.m.

Tuesday, October 24 One Stop voting begins for General Election at the Work Force Center, 135 Bestwood Drive (off Powhatan Rd.), Clayton 12 noon to 7p.m. Saturdays 9a.m. to 1p.m.

Tuesday, October 31st Last day to request absentee ballots in writing (exception due to sickness or disability)

Saturday, November 4th One-stop voting ends both locations

Monday, November 6th Mailed absentee ballots must be received in BOE office by 5:00 p.m.

Deadline to request absentee ballots for sickness/disability is 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday, November 7th General Election Day

the board of elections has had a monumental task this fall -- with changes in personnel and moving their office -- as well as, dividing three precincts and all that goes with making that happen -- kudos to them for a great job!!!!

you can vote this saturday either at the workforce center in clayton or the BOE in smithfield --- 9 to 1

 

Went to the BOE in Smithfield today, could not have been easier.

 

i believe i heard close to 200 hundred folks voted early at Board of Elections between Thurs & Friday!!!!! One stop voting for Clayton opens Tuesday 10/24 Noon to 7pm at the Jo Co Workforce Center 135 Bestwood Dr off of Powhatan Rd -- go to the end of Bestwood it is a new 2 story brick building
you can vote early at the board of elections office on second street in smithfield see earlier post!!!

 

I voted at the BOE office on Friday morning at approximately 11:30...I was #216 since they started on Thursday.

 

Just after Lunch today it was at 306 when I slipped my ballot in.

 

Keep it up people!! Vote Early! It's FAST!!
