This coming Tuesday put your vote where your heart is. Immigrants to this country are having a hard time. They work to save America – doing the jobs that Americans won’t do – and their work is not being appreciated. It is time that they are given amnesty and allowed to become Americans. It is time that they be allowed to get their driver’s license without the fuss of having to prove their citizenship or that they work/live in North Carolina. Isn’t it enough that they cut your grass and build your homes? Their children, born in North Carolina, already have the right to live legally in the U.S. and to benefit from the social programs such as food stamps, Medicaid, free meals in school, More At Four, and entry into secondary education facilities. Isn’t it time that you open your hearts and allow the parents these same rights? These poor people, living in a strange land, are being forced to drive illegally, work illegally, and forced to speak English (except on those documents and in those places where the retailers, county/state supervisors, and Federal authorities have gracefully granted assistance so that they can rightfully speak their own language.) Isn’t it time that they be granted citizenship? The only way to stop the immigration of these people is to accept those that are here so that the influx will halt!! Vote your heart and conscience on Tuesday - vote for your Democratic candidates!!

I'm all for immigrant rights, as the united states is a nation of immigrants. Sorry, but there is a huge difference between immigrants, and illegal immigrants. Good job blingo, try harder next time, you know what they say... "3rd time's the charm"

It's not stuck, it's intentional. In spite of pleas from most in the forum that the use of all caps is difficult to read (and considered yelling), blingo had repeatedly dismissed the pleas and chooses to go out of his/her way to annoy us. blingo is the type of person we all know who delites in annoying those around them. It's their way of getting attention, since nothing normal seems to work for them. I believe blingo would also cut in line at McDonalds, talk loudly in a library, and use their cell phone in the theatre.

Excuse me while I look for a misrepresentation in my post...... No, can't find one. What I do see are a lot of slams against me and what I've posted but nothing that contradicts my stand. Typical for you guys. If you can't change the facts, if you can't face the truth, then slam the messenger.
