Any recommendations for clock repair business. Not a antique clock. Just a wall award plaque clock that the hands fall off. Looks like a very small washer and nut would correct the problem but very small and not sold in hardware stores.
Tic-Toc shop in Raleigh is who we use of our company. Pretty reasonable. They DO know what they are doing.
Clayton Jewlers (or are the called Evans Jewelers?) fixed out cuckoo clock a few months ago. It's been working well ever since. They're downtown Clayton right near Main Steak Bistro.
Turtlepits, do you know if Tic-Toc does housecalls? I have a grandfather clock that needs help. (Glad this thread got started. It reminded me!)
Location of The Tic Toc Shop? Turtlepits, Any idea where The Tic Toc Shop is located? I called (919) 713-4327 but no answer. Any Who reverse lookup of number indicates an unlisted number and no address.
Yeah, it used to be Evan's Jewelers, but the previous owners retired and sold it about 9 months ago. It's called Mainstreet Jewelers now, and the new owners have really been doing a lot to refurbish the place and upgrade their stock. I bought my wife's Christmas present there and I was really impressed by what they're doing with the place. They've got a master watchmaker and clock repair guy too. I took one of my Grandfather's old pocket watches in to him (I think his name was Tom or something?) and he did some wonderful work on it. That old watch hadn't worked in at least 15 years, but it runs perfectly now.
