This is a little disgusting, but I found a website that gives an explanation of "The Shocker" (No, I didn't know what it was). It said that this hand sign is also known in high school as (and I'm quoting here):

"Two in the pink and one in the stink", "two in the coot and one in the boot", "going to town with one in the brown".

Pretty terrible, but I guess it gives us old farts (no pun intended) an insight into what's going on in school these days.

my parents allow me to go, knowing that ill make the right decisions there and after. You guys act like all we do all day is smoke and drink and have sex 'just because we see singers and actresses do it.' I hate to break it to you but me and the majority of those at clubs know the potential consequences of certain actions. Its all in fun and most of us know how to handle ourselves outside of the eye of parents. But your letting some kids ruin it for everyone.

and dont talk about trashy and uncalled for when leaving comments like this

Sorry sweetie. So, you're one of the good kids. Good. Influence others.
Maybe it was uncalled for. But it's FACT just the same. That's LIFE! That's what some people DO. Read a news paper.

    couldn't resist coming back. [IMG]

i was not at the last party at underage.. but have been in past teen nights and in pictures... i dont really feel like i should post pics but throw me a bible under my hand and maybe youll believe me then.

Tangy... the daughters thing was an honest coincidence, and i was referring to college possible because i myself am close to going.

Bit off subject... but nice evasiveness.

Really, granted I grew up in a big city, when I graduated in 1976 this went on. Of course I was not that sheltered, the house next door operated as a whorehouse for a while and the end of my paper route was known as Fantasy Pass.

ok i'm 19 so don't think i'm some middle age person being all huffy and puffy about seeing this.

lol how can you say that's not wrong? no matter if there is a few who go and 'aren't really like that', it's not the point, one doesn't go to that enviroment if they're 'not really like that'

no matter what anyone says it always comes back to to this point:

KIDS TRY TO GROW UP TOO FAST

they think once they hit 12 they're able to do whatever the hell they want. once the 16...they should be allowed ALL the wonderful advantages that adults get.

you can't say it's not true either. to me it's not really a 'parents don't trust their kid' factor. it's parents trying to keep their kid exactly what they are: A KID. but instead kids get a hold of this media that this society just loves to dish out (ie. every show out there..OC being a HUGE on) and makes them feel they have to act a certain way to 'be cool' i can remember being younger and kids were just happy with theirselves...

such a same what things have come to, eh?

It's just what I call the MTV generation. Kids are taught that sex and 22" wheels are the only thing important in life.

Wow, I am impressed! Were you spanked as a child? Just wondering? That comes from another thread.

    Anyway, very well said.

ROFLMAO... This is just nuts. This whole thread. Cat sleeping with dogs. Kids wanting to be adults. Mass hysteria!

To all the teens out there:

THIS JUST IN... YOUR PARENTS WERE BORN ADULTS. THEY NEVER WENT THROUGH PUBERTY WITH THE CRAZY HORMONES AND PRESSURES OF BEING A TEEN. THEY DID NOT HAVE PARENTS OF THEIR OWN TELLING THEM THE EXACT SAME THING THEY ARE TELLING YOU NOW. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN THERE-DONE THAT AND GOT THE TEE SHIRT THAT SAYS 'HERE HOLD MY BEER WHILE I PUKE ON YOUR GIRLFRIEND BECAUSE I JUST SMOKED MY FIRST FATTY'
We just need you to know that...
Your parents are here solely to ruin your life and make you the laughing stock of the 8th grade.

To all the parents out there:

May the force be with you.

Now back to your regularly scheduled teen whining.

Well, I know a few of the girls in the pictures from the first teen night. They are my daughter's friends and I can tell you their parents are not blind...just much more permissive than I would ever be. The real shame is these girls do not have much self esteem and also do not realize the image they are projecting is attracting the wrong kind of guys. Having been through this with my older daughter, I can tell you that the teen girls just want to have boyfriends to fit in and feel loved. They will wear skanky clothes and act in ways they think are necessary to get a boyfriend. Having a boyfriend is what gives them their feeling of self worth. HOW SAD!!!!! They don't realize that with this kind of image they are really risking the chance they may end up in a situation they can't control because the guys are reading everything as a yes. So they will go to these clubs, dance in ways that make me shudder and wear clothes all so they can feel loved...If the parents are blind in any way its that they don't realize these girls need help in learning to be happy with who they are.

LMAO. no i was never really 'spanked'...i mean..i really had to screw up..but then it wasn't that bad.

i just hate seeing 13 year olds doing things that when i was 13..(which i mean was only 6 years ago)...everyone would have thought that was incrediably wrong.
