I stopped in the Family Home and Garden Center, yesterday and met the new tenant, Mr. Lee Hudson. He plans to close the Hudson store on 70 and move to the location on Amelia Church (much larger) and 70. The store on 50 will remain as is. They plan to carry all that they currently do and then include some of the things that the Family Home and Garden store currently does. They should have a grand opening in April of 2008. Family Home and Garden Center is having a sale to reduce their inventory. I'm glad to see that they won't be totally gone for good and they plan to carry plants just like Family Home and Garden.
Thanks so much for that news. I have a friend who absolutely loves that store and would be crushed if he completely went out of business. I'll let her know! Frogger
Are you saying that Family Home and Garden will be sharing part of the building or HH will carry some of the same things?
Hudson is moving their 70 store to the Family Home and Garden Center location on Amelia Church. They plan on continuing the same business as they have at the 70 location and they plan to continue most of the same business that the Family Home and Garden store had before they decided to close the Amelia Church location.
How long do you think that the old store will be shut down while they transition into the new one? I have gone there for a few things and am excited to hear its growing into a bigger building! Thanks for the information. It made me think to go there this coming weekend! Sue
