Okay I know there are a bunch of threads on here about hair dressers. I've looked through all I could find, but most are a couple months old. Also from reading through them it seems like the hair dressers they move around a lot here, so I wanted up to date info. Why is that they move so much, btw? It seems odd. I need someone REALLY good with doing very natural looking highlights. I don't like chunks/strips of color. They way I'm used to it being done is where they take a comb tail and weave out very tiny bits of hair at a time. Also, looking for someone who is not scissor happy. I like length to my hair and don't want it chopped off, but I do have a lot of layers around my face. Sorry I'm so specific and I may not get much response because of it, but any help is appreciated. Thanks a bunch!!! -K
You can NEVER cut your hair, it's so pretty!! Call Jenny Boykin @ 207-0088. She does my hair. Going to see her Wednesday!! YEAH, no more roots!
Harley, where is Jenny located. My daughter has been bugging me for over a year to get her hair highlighted.

Michelle Barefoot at Headquarters Salon is my recommendation. My hair looks so natural that I can actually go longer than most when it comes to grow out because of how well she colors it. She also does not go scissor happy. She is really good and she doesn't break my bank either... 772-0040
Hair I second Michelle Barefoot, she's opened up the hair salon HEADQUARTERS in the new Lowe's shopping center. She has done my hair for 4 years and I love her cuts and colors.
Aww, Thank you!! I'll NEVER cut it short, but it is in dire NEED of a couple inches off! Thanks everyone else too. I'll start calling around. I need it done before the 21st. Wish me luck! -K
Wow! That is a really generous offer! Thank you so much, but I would not feel right taking another woman's hair apt. I know how precious they are. Besides, I need at least a 2.5 hr time slot. You should keep your apt. But I still intend on calling tomorrow (not open today) and see if she has anywhere she can squeeze me in. If not I can always use her the next time. Thanks again Harley, no wonder your so lhighly regarded on here! :-D -K
Good luck in your search That was one of the hardest parts about moving here - finding a replacement for the hairdresser I LOVED. I stopped a couple of people who had really great hair and asked who they used. One girl's HD was getting ready to take leave for surgery. I've been going to the other for the last year or so. Her name is Chada dos Anjos and she is at Jolie The Day Spa in Cameron Village (yep, its a bit of a drive, but when you find someone you like....) Anyway, you might try just stopping random people with really great hair and find out who they use and what they like. GOOD LUCK!!!
I highly reccommend Renee at Hair Cuttery by the Clayton Walmart. I know many people that reccommend her as well! She is sooooooo good at what she does! She always does my haircuts and highlights. I moved away from Clayton a year and a half ago and I still travel 40 minutes to her! I now live in Holly Springs. They are also very reasonably priced! Good luck!
I made an apt. for the 19th! She was in the middle of doing your hair when I called, LOL! Thank you! (I'll hold you responsible if she ruins my hair! just KIDDING!) -K
Give Shannon Holland a call at Salon 42. 772-4813..She is great! She has done my hair several times and I get alot of compliments from co-workers and even strangers.
