    Video Game Ratings?

We purchased a (used) PS2 and rec'd a Wii for Christmas. Love them both. However, I see the ESRB* ratings have a C rating (for Early Childhood 3 and up)...but I can't find any games for either platform with a C rating.

Does anyone know where I can look? I've searched gamestop.com, and have looked on some gaming forums, but have not found anything yet.

    Thx.

    * Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) ratings are designed to provide information about video and computer game content, so you can make informed purchase decisions. ESRB ratings have two parts: rating symbols suggest age appropriateness for the game, and content descriptors indicate elements in a game that may have triggered a particular rating and/or may be of interest or concern.

To take full advantage of the ESRB rating system, it's important to check both the rating symbol (on the front of the game box) and the content descriptors (on the back of the game box).

EC is one of the rarely used ratings when it comes to consoles, like AO (Adults only 18+). E is a pretty safe rating, when it comes down to it. Finding Nemo, Cars, all the childrens movie games are all aiming for an E rating. The EC rating is mostly limited to educational games, but as console development is expensive these don't bring in the sort of money the developers would like to see the market just isn't there. Also the smaller more complex controllers are a bit difficult for young children to understand when compared to the larger buttoned controller of a Leapster or similar product.

amazon has a list of EC games availible, even though it is very short.

Thanks so much. We have the Leapsters as well. I'll check out Amazon.
