    Hi All!

Could anyone recommend someone or some place that could give my restless 18mo DD her 1st haircut? I've tried to do an online search and have seen JJ's Kids in Raleigh, but didn't know if there was anyone or place closer to Clayton.

She is rather restless and I'm not sure how she'll do!! Everyone has been begging me to get her bangs cut since they are ALWAYS in her eyes! I think it's time to finally give in!

    See what I mean?

    She is a doll baby.

I took my 2 1/2 year old a few weeks ago at white oak...near premivera pizza (I might of spell it wrong) to get her bangs cut because she won't allow me to put barretts in or anything. They will give you a certificate for her 1st haircut and a lil surprise for the lil one.

There is also a thread started for this if you do a search....I think it was started by me :)

Thanks! I tried to do a search but didn't really see anything, at least by the titles. Could you offer any search keywords?

By the way, do you remember the name of the place you went to?

    Thanks so much!

She is beautiful. You could ask Sandy at Pure salon; she has a way with children.

Isn't Cost Cutters a walk-in place only or do they take appointments?

    First... ADORABLE little girl! :)

I cringe at the thought of spending even 5 bucks for someone to snip just a few springs of hair off my kids head.

You don't have to be handy with scissors to cut a kids hair. And an 18 mth old... if all you want to do is cut her some bangs, then rock her to sleep and trim them yourself. I've trimmed my DD's hair in the bathtub. I'm not cutting her bangs but rather bobbing the back of her hair.
I bought me a Wahl sheers and buzz my son's hair too. I couldn't put that on a barber. It's all out war to cut his hair!

    Good Luck

Too funny! We just started DS out REALLY young. He had his first haircut when he was less than 6 months old. Had too, because people kept telling me what a pretty little GIRL I had, LOL. Born with a had full, it was way down past his ears at that age, and not that baby fine stuff either, more like an adult's hair. Since we started so early, never had a problem. I wish you luck!
