Police Shoot/Kill Man Seen Beating Toddler To Death

I wish they could revive him so he could be beaten to death on top of being shot.

Sounds like that guy was in a full-blown rage. I am all for reanimation and physical torture. A fatal gunshot was too good for that animal.

Has anyone heard more about the missing boy in Smithfield? I may be way behind on this one. I heard he was never really missing and never heard about it again. Does anyone know what really happened?

No charges have been filed in connection with the report of a 3-year-old boy gone missing at the Brightleaf Flea Market last month. Siraj “Raji” Davenport was reported missing at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 18 by Rosna Thomason, his alleged mother. Ms. Thomason later admitted to Federal Bureau of Investigation officers that the call was a hoax. Smithfield Police are still looking into the case that sent officers from the Smithfield Police Department, Johnston County Sheriff’s Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation ­ as well as dozens of area volunteers ­ into the surrounding area looking for Siraj for more than 24 hours. “It is still ongoing right now,” said Smithfield Police Detective Adam Jones. “No charges have been filed, but we are still continuing the investigation.” Detective Jones would not speculate on the outcome of the case. Although no one has been taken into custody, Detective Jones did say he was investigating “at least one suspect in connection with the case.” Although police say Siraj is safe, it is unclear where he his, or who is caring for him. When asked about the burden the hoax placed on taxpayers, Detective Jones said that no numbers could be confirmed until charges are filed. ”I couldn't even begin to estimate the cost,” Detective Jones said. “There were so many resources and people involved in the search.”

 

Thanks for sharing the information. I can't imagine why you would "hoax" a child missing. I am so curious for more details. All in due time I suppose.

That whole thread irritated the crap out of me. I KNOW what I heard the man say while I was listening live. I don't care how it was edited or printed later. Yeah, that one is still stuck in my craw. :lol:

 

the kid who was or rather was not missing in Smithfield sounded like a test of the emergency minority system....will someone look for mine as quick as they would look for their own....well you have the answer - - YES. A child is a child.

the guy who tired the kid to a tree. He gets to go to - that place - and his deceased wife will probably haunt him while he is still here . I like it.

The guy who beat the toddles will probably get off on an insanity plea. The only thing he should get off, is his arms and legs ripped off -real slow like.....

 

What the heck could a toddler do to enrage a full grown man to beat the living crap out of him like this man did??? I know I use (and still do) get mad at my kids, but dang.....I never ever got that angry!!! This story made me cry thinking about that poor child having to endure this.

What is wrong with people any more? For Pete's sake!!!! Everything is going to H E DOUBLE HOCKY STICKS, in a handbasket! It just breaks my heart to hear stuff like this.

 

I wonder if he was flipped out on drugs.
