Qualities in friends

Well, to me friendship is much more than an acquaintance. I have many acquaintances, but only a few true friends. I always tell my girls, don't be so quick to call someone a friend, because more than likely they are just in your life for the moment.

Qualities:
Honest
Loyal
Integrity
Sense of Humor a MUST

 

I've always been raised to believe that strangers are simply friends you haven't met yet.

If you feel the need to put people in an order, then to me it would be:
1. Strangers
2. Friends
3. Good friends
4. Family

 

Unconditional, funny

 

Just two?

1) Honesty
2) Sense of humor

Most importantly, though, I need to feel like I can be myself around you without you judging me.

The definition of a true friend is 'being one'. I believe there are no levels of friend, you either are or you are not.
