I'm looking for a good place to take my daughter for riding lessons. We moved here recently and she was riding English before we moved. Any ideas?

There is a place off of 70, right near the Johnston County airport, that my oldest went to a few years ago that is excellent:

There is also a place near the intersection of Raleigh Rd and Sanders Rd (near West Johnston). If I go by there today I'll jot down the phone # and post it.

Hi, We recently moved here also and my daughter has started taking lessons at McNair's Country Acres in Raleigh. It is a bit of a drive but I think it is worth it. Their Website is www.macnairscountryacres.com, check it out.
I have been impressed with them so far. I called Promise Land to set an appointment twice and emailed them once and they never returned my calls or email. Of course that doesn't make them a bad place but it annoyed me enough not to pursue it farther. McNair also has 4H if your daughter is interested in it. Good Luck and let me know who you choose.

    Cathy,
I looked at the website for McNair's and it looks great! Are there prices reasonable?

I have seen the RALEIGH Rd stable lady teaching the last few weeks. I love to slow down to watch. Not to even mention the Clydesdale with his face at the FAN cooling off! :)

Please do NOT BEEP your HORN at the horses. This drove me MAD when I was riding or even just in the pasture w/ the horses.
    Augh!

My son took lessons at Traditions Training Farm in Smithfied\Selma, they run an ad in the paper sometimes, also you can google them for their webpage. I was happy with his progress and Kathleen was a super teacher.
