    Bless her heart....I loved that show and still watch the reruns when I can.

    On Inside Edition late last night they used a good portion of the show talking about her. That was one of my favorite shows growing up. I always said I wanted to be a spit fire like here when I was old and gray. Sad day :cry:

    (nodding in agreement with all of the posts)

    I remember an interview with her where she was talking about her audition. She came in dressed normally but didn't get the part. She came back in later on with her getup used on the show (complete with the gray wig) and she got the part. :)

    A few years ago there was a reunion show of sorts. She wasn't on it and the remaining cast members said that she was in poor health back then. She was my favorite on the show too.
