Cleo and Red, you're making me laugh my butt off at these posts! First time I've read this thread since this morning, and you're hysterical!

Why would a single mom with 3 kids think anyone would call her for a date from pizza inn??? She's gotta be nuts!! I can't leave my hubby cause I know I'd never get a date, no one would want me with all my "luggage", even as adorable as it is!!

PS. when is the rain gonna stop so I can go to the mailbox?

My Mom wants 'bath powder' for Christmas ... is bath powder the same as body powder? She puts it on after she gets out of the bath ... I know that much ... and she likes strong perfumey scents ... any one have a clue?

 

My mother always liked a bath powder that came in a large round box, maybe 4" in diameter, with a huge powder puff. Something like this:

 

I found some on Amazon. They have...
Halston or White Diamonds or Blue Grass (Elizabeth Arden) or
"I can't seem to forget you, your Wind Song stays on my mind" (remember that?) :lol:

 

My grandma used to have the *powder*. Everytime you'd walk in the bathroom it would take my breath away it was so strong. :ack::ack:

I'm making chocolate covered peanut butter balls today... aka Buckeyes!

LOVE THEM!!!! but they are a PITA to make.

I am done with the candies/nuts baking.

I have to cook tonight for a breakfast tomorrow at work.
I have to cook Wednesday night for a luncheon at work on Thursday...
I have to cook on Thursday night, cookies for a school fraction project due on Friday and muffins for the teachers breakfast at school on Friday too.

 

I made Blueberry Sugar Cookies-6 dozen.

I've got a bazillion cookies to make this week.

How do you make your sugar roasted nuts?
