I could care less about the cake thing. It's the children's lives and how they are going to be treated because of their names that is so sad. There are plenty of people who would probably be accepting of this, but plenty of people who will not.

The parents were definitely not thinking of their children's future when they named them.... :?

Now maybe people will be more tolerant of Moon Unit and Dwezel Zappa. At least those were not mass murdering animal's/people's names, unless I am just unaware of Zappa's kids' names' meanings.

Adolph Hitler? The father's reasoning is about as logical as that name!

    Freakazoids,

I read this and honestly could not believe it. It's truly sad for the children. Some things you just don't do and this is one of them. I know it is just a name but there are SO MANY negative conotations that go w/ that name that most folks will not be able to look at the child w/out thinking of Adolf. Or the other kid w/ the aryan Nation name in his. That's nuts! Poor kids won't have a chance. Kids in school will really give him a hard time and I think the parents just wanted some controversy. Hope the kids change their names when they are old enough. Can you imagine the look on Adolf's face when they start discussing Hitler in school?! Think of how embarrassed that poor boy will be. I think the parents should be required to change their name! How about to A***ole? Think that will work? Sorry but truly traumatic for the kids when they get older. Urghh. Can we give them the Darwin award???

Hope the kids don't try to live up to the names. I had the misfortune to know of someone named Jesse James ________, and he had a rap sheet as long as your arm. What kind of parents name their kids Adolf Hitler and Aryan Nation, anyway?

Poor kids don't stand a chance with what labels society will put on them just because of their names.

"A name's a name" like the freaky father says, buy why you chose that name opens a totally new book.
And ppl change their names left and right nowadays, so if these kids get older and dont bother to change their names, then they will seriously be judged for not doing so.

and "(something) aryan nation campbell"?? yeah, these rents are SO not neo-nazis! idiots...

By the time they turn 18, they will probably be able to sue their parents in this society.

My daddy left home when I was three
And he didn't leave much to ma and me
Just this old guitar and an empty bottle of booze.
Now, I don't blame him cause he run and hid
But the meanest thing that he ever did
Was before he left, he went and named me "Sue."
