Walmart at 40/42

I'm sure this has been posted on here a million times but I can't find it when I do a search for it so I'll just ask...

Does anyone know the projected opening date for the new Walmart at 40/42? :allears:

 

Hopefully in the spring of 3009.

I was hoping that it would be 3009, dosen't mean my wish will come true.

 

I may be totally wrong but I had heard it would take approximated a year and it would be open around August 2009.

Part of me wishes for 3009 just because of traffic!!!

 

I'm with the 3009 team....never or the week after would be fine with me.

Don't let the sour attitudes get to you. Most of the sour grapes folks hate anything to do with growth. They will try to stomp out anything that helps a community grow and bring in more business.

 

My guess is sometime late summer. The walls are up already. I really like the way they have it set back and down so you really don't see it from the road.

 

I must not have been that way in a while...b/c I was at lowes last week and did not see any walls...anyway...I'm ready for it to open...Have any of you heard any talks about a Target coming to the area as well? also when are those apartments behind andys going to open?

 

I went around behind Lowes to get a look. You can't see anything from the road.

 

so it's waaayy back there then...cool deal.

 

Land Across from Wal Mart Rte 42

Talked to my landlord who owns the land across from where the new Wal Mart is going to be. He told me there is interest from Appleby's. A Dollar Store, Vet Hospital to name a few to develop this parcel of land next.

 

I don't want no ****ed up deer that's been there for a week or more! :lol:
