1/11/09 Food Lion parking lot Witness Needed

Hello,

I am looking for anyone that witnessed a child being handed off in the Food Lion parking lot on Sun 1/11/09 at 5pmat 40/42. The hand off was between a 30 year old male driving a white Golf and a large approx. 60 year old female with curly black/grey hair she was driving a red yaris. Anyone who saw the hand off please post

There was a black girl in her 20's with long straight black hair getting out of her car very close by. She drove a later model black car (unknown type)... and a gentleman in a beige pickup truck sitting in his truck he was close by during the exchange and there were several people walking around and driving around at the time. If you know anyone that meets those descriptions please ask them if they were there!

Have you spoken to any of the employees of the businesses within the shopping center? Perhaps someone was leaving work or arriving for work who might have seen something yet does not come on this site.

 

Just another suggestion, but a lot of higher end grocery chains actually do have surveillience (sp?) cameras also located in their parking lots. Maybe you could talk with the manager. If they do, maybe they can help you. You may have to get help with law enforcement to actually view the recordings, but it may be worth a shot.

I called the Food Lion they only have cameras inside... I walked around to the different businesses and left fliers with the managers I also posted fliers on the lamp post near the location of the drop off.

I remembered seeing a man in a beige full sized pickup and a black girl with long straight black hair in a pony tail getting out of a black car very close by. She was wearing blue jeans I believe and walking towards the hair salon by the chiropractors place. If you know anyone that meets those descriptions please speak with them and post to me.

It was a warm day and there were tons of people in the parking lot.

 

Assuming several things, including there was a verbal input, a pocket recorder may be helpful in the future.

 

That's a shame. I sure hope someone knows something. I don't even know your situation and I'm worried for you. Please let us know when the situation is contained.

 

Now that my curosity is peaked out of control. Can you tell us why your looking for this person or persons

Sorry I want to bump this thread to the top I have court on Friday..

I went to food lion and gave them a description of the day and time and the people involved I asked if they could talk to their employees anyone scheduled to come in around that time or people getting shopping carts, etc...

Hey, im an employee of the 40/42 Food Lion. Unfortunately, I wasnt scheduled to work that day but I was up there. I wish I could help but I wasnt there until about 7pm that night. We've only got cameras on the inside, but having them outside would be a big help because we have a lot of problems with car break-ins, and theft from the store. But I really wish we would have security at the store, other than a camera at both doors.

 

you know anyone that was working that day that you could talk to??

If you could please call anyone that was working that day around that time and see if they saw anything. I would be most greatful!

Again if any one witnessed the child being handed off at Food Lion on 40/42 please contact me or post something. I need a witness, there are 2 beautiful children and their relationship with their father is at stake. Please!!!!!!!

33dad, hang in there. I have a very good friend who is going through something that may be similar to your situation. He's in a lot of emotional pain right now, but the truth is beginning to come out, 2 years later. The truth will come out eventually.
