Where can I get copies of the tax books and forms. The Post Office used to have them laying out. Some place in the Clayton/Garner area. Thanks. I rather read them sitting in a comfy chair than to sit online looking thru it online. I like to make sure I am totally prepared before I go to the accountant.
you can find just about anyting online. i have printed many forms and researched a ton for work taxes.
Just an FYI You can use the on-line forms and electronically file your return--so you get your refund faster and you don't have to pay for turbo tax etc. I never knew this was an option before and I like to do it myself but I hate to wait with the mailed in return
Hi! There were NO books behind the Golden Corral., just the forms. I also checked at the one next to the Food Lion and the the Liberty tax place. No books...... Any other places to get a 2008 1040 Book.? Thanks.
I laugh at the mention of Alice's Restaurant. If I have time I listen to it in the car. It will not help on the tax side but it might help after reading that stuff. Sherry
Last year I purchased his 1997 20th anniversary reprisal of the tune (he redid the whole album) and Arlo did a little bit about how he found out that Nixon had a copy of his album and the amazing coincidence about a 18.5 minute stretch of blank tape!

If you like Arlo, and you want the story to Alice's Restaraunt, NPR has an audio interview. He plays the song and explains how he wrote it. It was the 40th aniversary of the song when he did the interview in 2005.Arlo Guthrie I grew up very close to Stockbrige School. Arlo was somewhat the hero to all the locals when he wrote it.
Thanks everyone, I found everything that I needed at the Clayton Library. They had tons of tax books and forms. So on this rainy Saturday and Sunday I am going to try and get all my numbers together with the help of these tax books! And then it's off to the accountant!
