Geez Hughey... Well that could lead to about 15 if you have to change those drawers and do a load of laundry. :ack: :jester:
There is a study out there that says the more gas you have, the more calories you burn. People who pass gas 100 - 200 times a day don't even need to workout. (but they do need to live alone)
I don't have a clue. Don't the machines tell the calories burned by the time spent (and speed?) of the machine? And is it correct? Would how much effort the individual put in to it come into play? Like.. a lean healthy person on a treadmill compared to a more overweight, less athletic person.. would one burn more calories than the other? And using the weight machines... doesn't one burn more calories if they do weights before they do cardio? LOL ... I still have a lot of questions. All I know for sure is I go and I sweat. And I love the way my muscles ache afterward. Makes me feel like I did something DH says I may be using too much weight. Whe do y'all think? ... I need to go now. My gym clothes are waiting. DH is off today and he knows I like to skip when he's home. He washed all my gym clothes last night so I wouldn't have an excuse... the terd.
YES.....i have all these questions too! our gym has 15+ treadmills and i wonder if the cals burned are correct. i kicked my arse wednesday and just knew it was going to be higher than monday but it wasnt. and i swear the bike does not give an correct reading of my heart rate!! i also wonder if the scale is correct?
do you workout if you dont feel 100%?? if you do, does it make you feel better? feeling like dookie today but i really miss it when i dont go.
I actually do P90X. It's amazing, and really kicks your butt. I've been going to the gym for 6 years, and haven't had the same results.
