I need to take my son to the eye doctor asap. He got some kind of cut or abrasion going on in his eye and it's bothering him a big deal. Where can I find an eye doctor who is good with children?
I strongly AGREE on Dr. Board. Excellent eye doctor for kids. He's actually an opthamologist. However, your child's situation sounds like something that may need immediate attention. Perhaps you should carry him to WakeMed children's emergency room. Is the cut on his actual eye or eyelid? What kind of vision does he have? Is he seeing A LOT of floaters (some are normal), shadows or flashes of light? If so, I'd head for the emergency room at WakeMed.
