Please don't attack me for asking this I have stayed away from these boards cause people seem to take joy in being mean so if your gonna be nasty save it for someone else please. where I lived before we had to purchase a permit from the town to have a yard sale and we were limitted to 2 a year. My question is I live in Garner, do I need to get a permit to have a yard sale? Thanks!
Do you actually live in Garner, or do you live in rural Johnston County and have a Garner mailing address? Johnston County does not require permits for yard sales. I would guess the town of Garner doesn't either, but I don't know about that for sure. However, if you have a HOA, they might have rules about yard sales.
I live in Johnston county between 40/42 off cornwallis we have no HOA thankfully so I can place 100 pink flamingos on my lawn if i choose, hehe I am not sure neighbors would be happy but, I'm just kidding. I lived in Riverwood first and although its nice there is no privacy and to many rules! thanks for you reply!
Ha ha maybe we live in the same area; I have about 40 gnomes in my front lawn. Neighbors don't mind; some tell me they travel down the street to see what my gnomes are doing from time to time!
LOL I haven't been past your home yet. I am thinking this weekend If i can gather all the stuff together. I am scared thou some People who were not very nice to me on here will drop by so not so positive i will post it on the forum someplace if thats allowed or not. I hope you do have your yard sale...I'll look for it. I don't think people from here will come to stalk you or anything. I wanted to mention my yard full of gnomes; not like I have a postage stamp yard, so these gnomes do not look like trailer trash. I move them around from time to time, when we mow the lawn. We are in a subdivision as well, off Cornwallis, but not HOA or dues or anything. No one to tell me what to do. Heck, I even hang my laundry out...on SUNDAYS (perish the thought). Yeah, people can be mean here; I guess it is easier to criticize when one is anonymous. But I do agree; don't take it personally... :cheers:
i am off new bethel road right beside 40 so when i say i live between 40 and 42 i really do live right between them!!! oh and I am not big on watching my spelling or grammer so ya in case you havent noticed and if it bothers some people oh well I doesnt bother me:jester:
