Our neighborhood is having a yard sale on Saturday the 26th and we used to have someone who would come by after and pick up the items a person would leave at the curb but I don't think we anyone this year. I really need to know if anyone knows an organization or person who would at least pick up our family's items. Once I am done with yard sale I really don't want to store the items again and I hope that someone can use what did not sell. I just want to leave the items at the curb and know that they will be picked up that afternoon. Any organization or anyone? Thanks, Sherry
I believe it was a church that used to do this but I cannot remember the name as we have not participated in the "hood's" yard sale in a long time. I may call Ron and see if he does this but for some reason I don't think he does. Sherry
Sherry, I don't know if you would consider it or not, but my DD is raising money for Speed the Light www.speedthelight.com and she plans to have another yard sale before November to add to the proceeds. Several 4042ers have donated to her in the past for her first yard sale (and we haven't forgotten your tax receipts! we're going to send them all out at once!) and we would be happy to come get your leftovers to use for her next yard sale.

I have some stuff I was planning on giving you and was kicking myself when I realized your yard sale had come and gone. I'm glad she is doing another one. I got some stuff for her!
