Question about absentism

Ok, I hope everyone else got the message I just did from Dr. Croom. No child is going to fail anything due to illness (which by the way, I already knew, it's that common sense factor).

Just got the call from Dr. Croom. No student will be receiving 69's if they were indeed sick and went over the limit for absences. Parents are encouraged to contact the principal to discuss their child's situation, if needed. Hope everyone can get back to other more important issues now, like having a hissy fit in the front office over a blanket. As you were...

swine flu

my girls have had soo many absences for bronchitis and sinus prob.s. this is the first year i heard of this doc note excused absent. deal. where were they the last five years when my girls had issues with health and failed due to absences. i call b.s.... they should add extra time served for putting up with the bible thumpers in the cafeteria, which was totally illegal.(church and state separation deal) add that time served toward there actual sick time .
