DH bought the Nintendo Wii Game Resort and it also came with the Sports Games. After reading some positive posts here about Wii he thought it should be quite good. Now he's ready to return it,it's just too simple and the characters look like something out of playschool.
Which games from Wii do you all play?

Got mine for my grandson when he comes to visit. He loves the NASCAR games. My wife and I like the Wii Fit games, i.e., ski jumping, slalom, etc. Wii Sports is kind of basic but it's good for beginners. It's a game, how complicated should it look?

I still have the original Nintendo. My youngest loves Mario and Duck Hunt. Been debating getting a Wii but to be honest I'm not that impressed with it. Bowling is cool, but baseball is about as hokey as it gets. And Wii fit said I was 57 so I'm PO'd at them. (But I did it the second time, really concentrating and shaved 25 years off my age)

We got one. Some folks love it better than anything, but DH and DS hardly ever play it. They live on XBOX 360.

Wii is just not 'it' for everyone.

It's just just not the sit on the sofa w/ only your active thumbs kind of game system. The graphics are not the sort of action packed Kill'em game look.

We knew this going in. We like the Wii & we -USE- the Wii for exercise.

too simple....that's funny. I challenge your husband to boxing or tennis. ;)
they're simple looking, but there is quite a bit of skill and challenge involved. We love the wii sports. Adults and kids.

What we like about our Wii is that it gets the whole family actively involved. If you're a serious gamer, it's probably not for you- but for interactive games for the whole family- it's great.

I just recently bought the Wii mainly for exercise. I have never been a "gamer" but have 2 sons that are addicted to Xbox 360. If you are into RPG, then Wii is not for you. I like the Wii because it is interactive. Like others have said, it is not a game to just sit on the couch and use the controls. It's great for exercise because you are moving the whole time and can work up a sweat!

The first time we played it we did the Wii Sports. The kids wanted to do the boxing...Needless to say the next morning I got up and my arms were sooore. It kicked my tail.
