Nice job! As you probably noticed I am not much of a writer by trade, but am very involved in Management Systems. Are you utilizing an OHSAS18001 or ANSI/AIHA Z10 Management System? Not sniffing for business, just trying to get a lay of the land from a safety professional. Automotive industry is trying to discourage 18001 and ster them to Z10, but I really don't see a lot of activity there.
RE: Hught Hught, sorry for the delayed response. I am really not familiar with either system that you mentioned. I have developed our system in-house and we have an excellent success rate. We have approximately 170 employees on site and usually post results 20% above the industry standard for our NAICS code. Maybe we have a good system or maybe we are lucky. I like to think it is an element of both. I write safety articles for the publication referenced in this topic 2-4 times per year. I also do some industrial consulting.
