I'm kind of nervous because I ordered something from amazon.com weeks ago and still haven't received it. I tracked the package and it looks like it's been at the same place (somewhere in CA) for a week now. There is no guarantee that I'll get it before Christmas but I was hoping it would! Anyone else have this experience with Amazon.com? I guess I should have paid more for priority shipping.
I ordered 1/2 my Christmas stuff from them with no problem. Usually pretty quick shipping. (and I always just do the free shipping) Odd that it has stayed put for a week!! Is there anyone you can call? I hope you get it in time! Oh, also thought of something else.... you can order 'from Amazon' and it be a third party. You may want to check if it was really Amazon or not.
Last year I ordered from Amazon and used the free shipping-I had it within 24 hours even though they said it could take 5 days. I agree that the issue may not be Amazon but the place where the item is coming from.
I've been ordering from Amazon for years with no problems. Try contacting their customer service dept. Even if it's a 3rd party seller, Amazon should be able to check into it for you.
I can't say anything but good for there service. I ordered a big screen LCD Tv from them, it was a sum of money cheaper than local, it was here in 4 days... I buy from them regularly. Contact them immediately>>> GOOD LUCK AND MERRY XMAS!!
Thanks everyone. I've used Amazon many, many times with no problems too. This is the first time I've had this problem. I'll call them and find out.
