Smithfield, NC – The Johnston County Public Health Department has scheduled walk-in H1N1 influenza clinics for December 29 - 31, 2009 for persons age 19 and older who would like to be vaccinated. The clinics will be held December 29 – 31 from 8:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the Public Health Department located at 517 N. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield. Citizens are reminded to please bring along your insurance information and card. Does Walgreens charge your insurance or do you pay out of pocket? I've never had to go outside of my dr's office for a flu shot before so I have no idea how it works. Thanks!
They charged Blue Cross for my wife, but not for my Blue Cross (Mine is Blue Cross of Michigan), so I ended up paying cash but she didn't.

If you miss the Health Dept clinic...Walgreens across the intersection is giving them on a walk-in basis. If you have insurance, they'll bill them. If not, its $18.00. The wait time isn't that bad either.
