Walk-In H1N1 Influenza Clinics Held December 29- 31, 2009

    Smithfield, NC – The Johnston County Public Health Department has scheduled walk-in H1N1 influenza clinics for December 29 - 31, 2009 for persons age 19 and older who would like to be vaccinated.

    The clinics will be held December 29 – 31 from 8:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the Public Health Department located at 517 N. Bright Leaf Blvd., Smithfield. Citizens are reminded to please bring along your insurance information and card.

    Got mine a week ago at Walgreen's in Clayton.

    Does Walgreens charge your insurance or do you pay out of pocket? I've never had to go outside of my dr's office for a flu shot before so I have no idea how it works. Thanks!

    They charged Blue Cross for my wife, but not for my Blue Cross (Mine is Blue Cross of Michigan), so I ended up paying cash but she didn't.

    New dates:
    January 4th
    January 5th
    January 6th
    January 7th
    January 8th

    Same times as listed above, 8:30a - 11a

    I'm planning on going some morning this week ... I've decided better safe than sorry.

    If you miss the Health Dept clinic...Walgreens across the intersection is giving them on a walk-in basis. If you have insurance, they'll bill them. If not, its $18.00. The wait time isn't that bad either.
