As typical, I am the odd ball. The first option, however I am interested in how an alien pronounces it.
I guess I would qualify as far as the alien is concerned since I'm a resident alien,I still pronounce it pee can even though spelled that way it sounds more like an item that one would use during an overnight camping trip if there are no restrooms nearby
Oddly enough I pronouce that word two seperate ways depending on how it's being used. It's pee can pie, but I just bought a can of puh kahns
Puh-khan is how we say it in Georgia...but I get corrected every time I say it that way up here. I suppose I will get used to it some day, just as I have grown to love red hot dogs. However, I will ALWAYS prefer my BBQ ketchup- based and sticky! :lol:
