THE PETER MAYER GROUP will be performing at Johnston Community College on Sat. night, Sept. 11, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. Peter is Jimmy Buffett's lead guitarist and performs with his own band when no touring with Jimmy. The proceeds from the concert will benefit the Brain Tumor Center at Duke. My daughter-in-law passed away in Feb., '08 and my best friend's son is a 4 yr. brain tumor survivor. Denise gives each newly diagnosed brain tumor patient a Bag Of Hope.....an inspirational CD by another brain tumor 14 yr. survivor, her sons card with her website and a small angel. The money from this event will go toward more Bags of Hope. Together we raise funds throughout the year for ANGELS AMONG US... ...the annual fundraiser that Duke has for the Brain Tumor Center.
