1. Pick up the weights 2. Take my q-poning more seriously (save more $$) 3. Stay FAR FAR away from DRAMA queens/kings 4. Get outside more often (camping, hiking, 4 wheeling) 5. Chop off my hair before my B-Day (donating to locks of love) That's it! Happy almost New Year everybody!! :grouphug::grouphug:
Heard on the radio they're offering one yr for $99 - they 'say' no gimmicks, hidden fees, etc. Offer good till the end of the yr (I think).
Did you see that news story about the woman who had turned her garage into what looked like Sam's Club? She had a 40-year supply of toilet paper from obsessive shopping. Another guy had bought hundreds of deodorants and toothbrushes. One mother carried her young kids weekly to dig through the city recycle bin for coupons. I will say though I'm intrigued by how some of these folks shop. One bought like a $1000 worth of groceries for like $50 bucks!
If one didn't go out and get fat or chubby than one wouldn't have to waste time and effort on a resolution.
It actually is a good deal - when I joined the offer was $10/month. I told my husband the electric to run a treadmill or eliptical at our house would be more so I ended up joining the gym. I'm sure if I had the treadmill at the house, it would be an expensive dust collector.
I saw on some TV show one time about a guy that would take advantage of the trial memberships that the gyms would offer in his city. He would do free trials and then move on to another...got like a year's worth of usage combined for free! Now that's thrifty!
I don't know if you are talking to me or not but .... you obviously don't know me/havent seen me.
I was addressing the ones I mentioned, if you fit in that category than yes, it appears as though you don't and no I don't know or have I seen you that I know of.
OK, I've been cranky today and was trying to pick a fight.:lol: I'll be nicer next year.
If you take continuing to care for my son and getting him more and more ready for semi independent living as a given.... 1. Finish rebuilding my business back to it's former financial glory. 2. Get health insurance. 3. Continue rebuilding a financial nest egg. 4. Maintaining good health and getting in even better shape. 5. Finish my personal trainer certification which got put on hiatus in second half of 2010. 6. A threesome with Katy Mixon and Halle Berry. Or just hooking up with Katy Mixon. 7. Be more patient with idiots. 8. Have more fun and enjoy my life even more it that's possible.
Yeah........ good thing I'm not taking you personally but it is attitudes like that that have kept me motivated - so thank you. I admit, I got this way in part because I took care of everyone but me. I spent 8 years with the military so at one point I was fit and trim and was able to keep with doing the pushups along side of the men in my platoon. Unfortunately, at some point I got too comfortable and things happened but no more. I'm back in the game and am looking for a workout partner on the free weights so since you are so perfect, fit, trim and buff - meet me at the gym. I welcome any expertise you care to offer.
To quote one of my favorite songs.... "Go for a walk, say a little prayer, Take a deep breath of mountain air, Put on my glove and play some catch. Wade the shore and cast a line. Look up a long lost friend of mine. Sit on the porch and give my guy a kiss. Raise a little hell, laugh 'til it hurts. Put an extra five in the plate at church. Call up my folks just to chat. Stay up late, then oversleep. Show him what he means to me. Catch up on all the things I've always missed. Just start livin', that's the next thing on my list"
