Apparently it was a school bus accident. 4 kids have been taken to the hospital. I'm trying to find out more.
from the N and O Website A Wake County school bus headed to Timber Drive Elementary school was involved in an accident with a garbage truck at 8:30 this morning, according to emergency officials. Four children were transported to WakeMed with minor injuries, according to Jeff Hammerstein, the Wake County EMS division chief. Emergency crews had evaluated five children on the scene who had complained of neck and back pain, schools spokesman Greg Thomas said. The accident occurred at the intersection of Creech and West Garner roads, Thomas said. The back of the bus was struck on the driver's side, Thomas said.
