Aversboro Restaurant and Sports bar in Garner right on Aversboro Rd. has shagging, but I'm not sure what nights.
We were Hall Of Fame shaggers at Atlantic Beach. Used to go to SOS. You don't have to be good to go to SOS but will see some great dancers. We just loved it and danced several nights a week. I understand Reds in Raleigh closed. Try Loafers Beach Club in Raleigh. The only way you will become a good shagger is TO GET ON THE DANCE FLOOR and not be intimidated by others. Sure do miss it but I am now in a wheelchair and can no longer walk much less dance. Some of my friends are some of the best shaggers around. We moved from New Bern to Clayton when I got sick. Keep dancing, you will have alot of fun and meet some wonderful people from all walks of life. SOS is this week and we sure would like to be there.
