Here is a recipe from Deans Farm Market (in Wilson, where we buy our strawberries): QUICK AND EASY STRAWBERRY SHAKE PIE Ingredients 1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese, softened 1/2 (14oz) can sweetened condensed milk 3/4 cup mashed strawberries 2 (8oz) containers cool whip, divided 2 (9inch) prepared graham cracker crusts Sliced fresh strawberries Directions Beat cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk with mixer until well combined. Stir strawberries and 1 container cool whip into cream cheese mixture. Spread mixture into the two prepared pie crusts. Top pies with remaining cool whip. Garnish with sliced strawberries. The first time I made it directly by the recipe. The second time I did not make the jello top layer but just served chopped fresh strawberries on top. My fave way to use strawberries (other than to simply eat 'em fresh) is to use them in smoothies with vanilla yogurt and pineapple. I also like to make the stuff my family calls "crack dip"...a softened block of cream cheese combined with a container of cool whip (we use reduced fat CC and Cool Whip Free). We LOVE dipping berries in this...had some today! A new way I tried this past weekend was to use granny smith apples and make homemade applesauce...with strawberries. Yum!!
