What do you mean by "sell outs?" Who are we selling out? Food Lion, McDonald's, the Waffle House and Yummi Japan? (I go to those places too) By the way, all those places I mentioned in my previous post are average priced stores and restaurants that all kinds of people frequent.
Blimpie Subs A full Dunkin' Donuts (like whats on 70 in Clayton) An authentic Cuban Restaurant Maybe someone should make a list of places and give it to the Greater Cleveland chamber of commerce to see if they can solicit some of these stores to see if we can get any of them.
Target! Hate having to drive to White Oak for it. Chick-fil-a Harris Teeter I lived in Cary until the end of 2010 and it's been hard to adjust to everything not being .5 miles away!
+1. There are very few things I miss from the snowbelt, although I have thoughly enjoyed almost three decades in the South now. As to the topic at hand, I really didn't mind it too much when one had to go up to Garner to get to Lowes H/W (for when Hudson's ACE wasn't enough) or to Golden Corral on 401. I'd trade the convenience of local shopping for a 50% reduction in trafffic so it really wouldn't hurt my feelings much to turn the clock back to 1994, but I suppose many others would choose 1984, 1974, 1964 etc. Such is the price of progress. BUT... if they ever open a Moe's in Clayton, well, that's a entirely different story!
I vote for Harris Teeter~!!!!!! Wegmans would be wonderful, but I think that is too much to hope for.
Before anything is added to 4042 a bulldozer should come through and start fresh. What a terrible mess and so uninviting it has become.I avoid the area at all cost and you should too! Just poor planning over there at its best.
New York Pizza (the one I like is in Cary on Hwy 55) Super Target A Thai restaurant Movie theater A dry cleaners that doesn't charge an arm and a leg Chick fil a GoodBerrys Baskin Robbins A pottery/ceramics shop Apple Computer store
It's strange to me that many people are requesting stores (Target, movie theater, Chickfila, etc.) that are located at White Oak only 5 minutes away from 40/42. Just curious..what is the reasoning that I'm missing?
Sweet Creations or YoPop Super Target Ceramics/Pottery store Barnes And Noble Panera Carraba's Gander Mtn. a few more decent restaurants
