Are these shots one year? Three year? Or the new Five year rabies shots that I recently heard about. Maybe that's why they want $10 instead of $5?
Most of the clinics will do a 3 year shot as long as you can provide proof that they have been current on their rabies vaccine, other than that they only will do a 1 year (at least that's what I've read on all the past clinics online).
