Doesn't matter if it was in the middle of the road idiots would just drive around it. Saw the proof of that a couple of weeks ago when we had the bad storms and a few roads were closed yet people just drove around the signs like they weren't meant for them.
getting close? I went down to the bridge yesterday and it looks like the "bridge" part is done, they still have more to do, the bridge is probably 10" higher than the road on the south side so they will have to build up the road and clean up the area, it will be nice when when it is open again.
Let's just hope the takeoff and landing is smooth on this new bridge. Seems they have a hard time getting roads to be even with existing roads in this state.
