Do I need a permit?

Does anyone know if you need a permit in Johnston Co to put in a 15 x 31 concrete slab with a metal carport over it?

In addition to the permit and since there will be some digging due to the slab: make sure you contact NC811.org to come out and mark all utility lines in the area where the slab is to be constructed.

If a line is hit and this was not done, it could cost you BIG time.

They usually schedule out 2 days for someone to come out, just FYI

And it's FREE for them to come out, we just had them come out recently.
