Anybody ever have any issues with this antibiotic? I was prescribed it on Friday and was sick as a dog until I figured out this morning that I must be allergic to it.

Michelle, what sorts of symptoms? I have to look up ingredients for meds to see if they have a lactose ingredient. It's a common filler. If I don't have a choice to take another med without the lactose ingredient, I can take a lactase just like if I wanted to eat ice cream or drink milk. Hope you're better now!

I had severe chills, eye pain, body aches, vomiting. All of that was MUCH worse than the condition I was being treated for. Turns out that after posting about it on facebook I have a friend who only took it for 2 weeks and ended up with liver failure. Took her 2 years to recover!!
Sorry to hear that!! It seems that Doctors are much too quick to prescribe antibiotics these days,we contacted the dentist after my husband had experienced specific side effects but they were quick to point out that it could not have been from the antibiotics,of course not :x
