I would try contacting michaels at white oak, the johnston county YMCA in Smithfield, or the Clayton parks and rec dept. Home Depot and lowes have various classes for kids & parents too. Good luck!
I would love to take a cooking class. I am a vegetarian and I get tired of eating pasta and can not afford to keep shopping at Whole foods all the time.
From Cary to Chapel Hill: https://www.whiskcarolina.com/cooking-classes http://www.capriflavors.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=74 http://www.surlatable.com/browse/storeCalendar.jsp?storeId=118&&offset=2 http://www.durhamspiritscompany.com/ http://www.southernseason.com/cooking-school/chapel-hill/ My wife and older son went some of the southern season classes together and enjoyed it very much. Some ot the others individually and the rest referenced by friends. Williams Sonoma at Southpoint gives cooking demonstrations as do some of the locations of Lucky 32.
There is a place at north hills that has cooking classes for kids. I think they have parents join as well.
