There is probably already a thread... but I couldn't find it.. Does anyone know what other businesses will be part of the new shopping center on Cleveland Road? thank you...
There are no permits for any company other than Food Lion so far. So I am not sure anyone has leased any of the other space yet. There could be up to 15-20 or so individual businesses on the entire piece of land if they are small businesses. But I would expect at least another 5-10 over time for sure. There's still 3 other plots that are not developed yet, from 1-2 acres each. They could support a single large business or a multi-tenant building each.
At one time I saw a sign at Health Smart Pharmacy (formerly Medicap Pharmacy, Garner) for a future, new second location. The address listed on the sign was the new Food Lion address. I'm hoping this is still a plan and it hasn't changed.
I need a store that sells pet food, electronics, banking services, hobby supplies, auto parts, hunting and fishing gear, boat parts and general hardware. OOps... that's wal mart, nevermind. Forget I said anything.
This previous thread offered that they were shooting for October 19 ... http://forums.johnstoncounty.today/...cleveland-road-near-fire-station.39943/page-8
Parking lot was about full of cars when I went by today (Oct 13). I wonder if they were interviewing new employees.
JMO: I have found Marcos in Clayton to consistently make good pies. Their sauce is hardy, sausage they use is flavorful, and we like their attitude. Always upbeat and happy in that store. I have never waited more than 45 minutes for a delivery, and 15 while waiting in the store.
Try Tavern 42. @ 2 miles east of Clayton, but worth the drive!!! Tavern 42 119 Oleander Dr. Clayton, NC (Near Food Lion at Flowers Plantation)
