Wood shop for jointing & planing?

    Anyone know of a wood shop that'll joint and plane a few 2x6 boards? I'm building a couple of desktops and don't have the equipment.

    No but I wish there was one where you could bring your stuff and use the equipment.... cause I would be there a lot.
    I thought someone once mentioned a place near Durham, but I'm not sure.

    There was a place in Durham called Techshop, which is a California based, open access, workshop and fabrication studio, but the Durham location is no longer open. They had all kinds of fantastic woodworking and metal fabrication equipment there for the DIYer. Too bad they closed that location.

    Seems like a great business opportunity for the area...as long as it had a gun range attached. Lol

    Capital City Lumber in Raleigh has milling services. I bought pegboard from them a few years ago. I may get the wood & milling from them. http://www.capitolcitylumber.com/
