Krispy Kreme Doughnut in Jo Co.

Wondering if anyone has heard if Krispy Kreme is coming to our county. Rumors has been told that they are going to Smithfield.

 

I had heard it was going to be close to JCC. Don't know if that is true or not...

 

Well they are prepping the land for something next to the waffle house

 

No love of KK here. Much prefer the small doughnut shop up in the Lowes Aversboro shopping center. Absolutely wonderful doughnuts compared to KK and it’s locally owned and operated.

 

I'd love if a full size DD came to 40/42 area. We just have the express ones now that have like 3 different donuts. But I guess the Clayton one on 70 isn't that far.

 

My wife swears by that place. It is very good.

 

There is a full-service Dunkin Donuts at 210/40 in the shell station. I don't think one at 40/42 would be good. The line would extend half ways to Fuquay...

 

There is a "Kobe" sign up there.

 

any updates on kk in smithfield? location? will they cook them there from scratch or warm them over?

Yep...going in the old Chops building....right next to Six Flags. (sorry, couldn't stop myself).

Then at least the building will be used for something other than an eye sore!
