That beautiful house behind Cleveland fire station

This question has been bugging me for the last few years.
Does anyone know why the brick house behind Cleveland Fire house in Cleveland School has not sold?
The internet says it was sold in 2017 but there's still no one there. I'm just being nosey.

 

Allegedly it's going to be part of the new houses being built as the Club/Pool for that subdivision.

 

Are we talking about one of the homes that belongs to D.R. Wells sons?

 

Does anybody know what the Sherrill Farm SD is about?
The picture above is one of the houses that have been popping up recently on the web.
Went there in October, but somewhat chintzy features.
