    Animal Shelter Open House

The Animal Services department will hold its first open house on May 21, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with both television and radio coverage. There will be educational programs for all ages, exhibits from the equine rescue unit, and drug dog demonstrations. There will be an opportunity for owners to have their pets vaccinated for rabies, and of course, opportunities to adopt a new pet.

A lunch will be served from noon until 1:30 p.m. with live music. Watch the local newspaper for more information or call 919-934-8474 to speak to the Animal Shelter directly.

We look forward to seeing you there!

I'll be there, restraining myself from taking home every cat. (Maybe I'll take, just a few.)

Well, I have another obligation but it could possibly be cancelled. If not there in person, I will wish you all the best. Give me a call if we can help in any way.

When they say 'Animal Shelter' ... which one? Addy? I've got agility mid-day but would like to stop by and show support ...

I heard that it was going to be a blast so bright The Light would cause you to wear sunglasses when you went to Adoptadog ..... I wonder who else would support the adoption efforts so well? :?

So if I'm looking at the calendar right, it's this weekend, correct? :)
Anyone know if we can bring pets? (I guess so, since they're doing vaccinations...)

Cool ... I -think- I have agility in the morning, so will be stopping by in the afternoon, hopefully with my newest rescue, my collie. He needs the socialization. If I dont have my collie, I may have my mini-aussie ... a hyper bouncy nut.
