I am in desperate need of someone to transport "Jesse", a beautiful black lab at the Johnston County Animal Services, to Georgia Rescue!!!! This has to be done ASAP!!!! If you or someone you know will be able to help us out, that would be WONDERFUL!!! Thank you! Sandy 796-5284 (cell)
Sandy, just curious, can't Georgia Rescue come pick it up? If not, can I ask why? Are they willing to meet someone halfway?
I have offered to meet them half way, but they don't have anyone coming up here before next week. :? You'd think if a rescue wanted it bad enough they would come get it TODAY! They know if they can't get someone up here or get someone to meet me 1/2 way on Saturday night or Sunday what the outcome may be. Hey I do my part but really don't feel it's my job to run dogs all over the damn world! :x Any suggestions?
Hold in foster temporarily When, next week, would Geogia rescue arrive here? Would they commit to a date? Because that opens another alternative - foster care for a short time. And I hesitate to ask, but do you think em kay/Adoptadog/The Light would be willing to foster or drive? That is, would she act to do something to help a dog?
ahahahahah good one animal lover. i got one too what does caviar and michael jackson have in common? both come on little crackers.
Re: Hold in foster temporarily I hate to say this, but... nevermind, it was ugly. Remember, I'm not supposed to call her anymore? I can get them to commit to a date and if I can find a foster home until then. I will be talking with them tonight.
I don't know what to tell you. I don't have a fenced in yard, and there is no way hubby would let me have a dog in the house, otherwise I'd keep it for a few days. Is there maybe a local resuce that might be willing to foster it for a few days, or meet up with them?
Jesse, should be getting picked up today and heading to Georgia! Thank you guys for your phone calls.
