I feel the same way when there are so many that need good homes at shelters and on this board all the time! I "had" to have a Sheltie many years ago, bought and paid for a pure bred, never again! That dog had more health and mental issues than you could shake a stick at. I loved her like crazy, and she was beautiful, but swore I would never own another pure bred dog, we are talking $1000's in vet bills in just a few years. Those dogs would probabaly be pretty healthy cause they are mixed as long as the dude isn't running a puppy mill, but $1500 for dog???? That falls under the category of having more money than you have common sense in my humble opinion.........
