New NC Challengers 11/12U Team. The NC Challengers are looking to build an additional 11/12u team for 2009. We have a committed core of 3-4 players who are moving up from 10U. We are looking for committed players with positive attitudes towards developing their skill set in the game of fastpitch softball. Players should also be able to play at a level that will allow them to be success full. This is a great opportunity for players simply needing a change or interested in getting in on the ground floor of a new team with all positions open.We are looking for players with good, team first attitudes, hustle and who are dedicated to playing travel ball. Opportunities for individual tryout/evaluation are available at any time upon request open tryouts will be announced later. We are looking for players and PARENTS who are dedicated to creating a winning softball team, who are sociable with a "good" attitude and willing to put the team's success to the forefront. We are focused on having fun, "teaching", fundamentals, team play, and being competitive with the top teams in 12u. This spring we will play at least 2 weekends a month back to back we will practice all winter and will hold 1 mid-week practice each week and will practice on off weekends once the season starts. I can attest to this organization. The Challenger organization has many teams from 8u-high school. They oftentimes have college players from NC State hold clinics just for the Challenger organization. Many young women from this organization end up getting scholarships to college. Great place to have your daughter play if she is into softball.
