Any one know of a good two part apoxy that bonds plastic to plastic? On my way home from food lion to pick up some lottery tickets (all losing numbers) I was going past where the new super wally world is and my passenger side mirror clipped one of the orange barrels and broke off at the screws. So now its dangling by the power adjustment cord. I just want to apoxy it back up till i get get a replacement mirror put on. Thanks
They sell 2 part epoxy at Auto parts stores... Not sure how well they will hold, but may be a good temporary fix. The first time someone leans on the mirror it will likely fall off...(although that could make for a really funny scene) Good Luck!
That may cause more problems when you go to replace it. One of the women who works for me had the same problem and got one of the men to "fix it for her". They tried epoxy and the plastic weld glue we had but it did not set up quickly enough and ran. He finally used duct tape to hold it in place until they replaced it.
I've used PVC pipe cement in the past for plastic, it holds great. They use it on water and sewer lines and they get a lot of pressure. GOOD LUCK!!:hurray:
