My house is full but I just want to say that I adopted a Pom from the JC animal shelter last year and she is WONDERFUL! I hope these guys wind up in good hands.

I am sure I can find someone to take them if you cant find their mommy or daddy (might be a rescue group). But I have a friend looking for a small dog, I am thinking maybe I can talk her into two.

    Keep us posted.

I would be willing to take one of them if that person is still trying to find a home for them. She can email me at jean_penny@ncsu.edu

Before taking them to a shelter, have her call ALL the animal hospitals in Johnston County. They keep lists of lost/found animals. Then have her call the animal shelters and ask the same info.
Contact the rescue groups like the Johnston County Animal Protection League, or other rescue organization, they may be able to place them in foster homes together. You can get the names & phone numbers of local rescue groups from most animal hospitals. Unfortunately they are usually swamped with homeless pets.

It tears me up to hear of owners/pets being separated.

I don't know if its been considered or not yet, but take them down to a local shelter or vet and have them scanned to see if they are microchipped???
