All proceeds from these events go to help build an inclusive playground and Miracle League field in Johnston County. The Johnston County school system has approximately 4,000 special needs students in it. Many of these students cannot play on typical playground equipment or in sporting leagues with other children. This facility will give them the opportunity to pursue typical childhood activities and give them something they look forward to, despite the challenges, treatments, and therapies they face day to day as they cope with their disability.
